West Virgina

Val and I took a day trip to West Virgina Saturday. Our first stop was Blackwater Falls State Park where we hiked to Blackwater Falls, Falls of Elakala and Falls of Pendleton. Then we headed to Seneca Rocks, a large exposed rock cliff. Our final stop (after a pretty intense 8 mile drive up a narrow road complete with switchbacks and no guardrails) was Spruce Knob, the highest point in West Virginia. It was a beautiful day (although a bit too sunny for photographing waterfalls) and we had a great time. If you are ever in that area I recommend you check it out, especially Blackwater Falls State Park.

Also, as you may or may not have noticed, my blog has a different look. I'm still tweaking but any feedback would be appreciated.
